This 12 inch LED flush mount ceiling light is the highest output 12 inch flush mount Votatec builds, at 2,000 lm from a housing just 0.65 inches deep.
Switch it to 18W, 20W or 24W on the rear pigtail, then choose 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K. CRI 90 across all five.
PS lens, damp location listed, cETLus, 2.5kV surge protection, 5 year warranty. White or black.
How big should a flush mount ceiling light be?
Add the room's length and width in feet, then use that total in inches as the fixture diameter. A 6ft by 6ft bedroom, a small kitchen or a landing lands on 12 inches. Below that, step down to the 9 inch. Above it, the 15 inch.
Do you need an electrician to fit a flush ceiling light?
Votatec's manual says yes. It tells you to have a qualified electrician confirm the branch circuit conductor, and it cites the Canadian Electrical Code and the Quebec Electrical Code by name, not the NEC. Once power is off it's three steps: mounting plate into the outlet box with both screws driven fully home, white to white and black to black with the supplied wire nuts or the push-in Quick Connector, then rotate and push onto the plate.
What the three wattage steps are actually worth
One SKU covers three lumen packages, so you standardise on one part number and tune output per room at install. The supplied IES files, tested on an EVERFINE GO-2000B in December 2025, measure the 24W step at 2,078 lm and 22.1W at 4000K, or 94 lm/W. Warm settings cost light. That same step gives 1,804 lm at 2700K, so fix the colour temperature before you commit to a lumen number.
Will it fit, and what won't work
Leave a compartment at least 12 inches across and 0.65 inches deep. It's damp location listed: covered porches, bathrooms and laundry rooms yes, open weather no. It mounts horizontally or vertically. Dimming is Triac only, so pair it with a forward phase wall dimmer, never a 0-10V driver. Surge protection is 2.5kV and the range is -20C to 40C.
For the wiring diagram, package contents and the full safety sequence, open the Manual (PDF), and take the IES set if your designer needs per-CCT photometry. Send us your unit count and we'll come back with a wholesale quote and confirm which of the six Slim Flush Mount sizes matches your openings.
