LED Flood Lights for Hospitality, Multi-Unit Residential and Government
Property managers and B2G buyers spec flood lights for three reasons: lower operating cost, longer maintenance intervals and tenant safety. LED flood lights cut energy use by about 75% versus metal halide and run 50,000+ hours, which means a parking lot relamp every 8-12 years instead of every 18 months.
For municipal and institutional projects, we supply documentation packages with photometric files (.ies), CRI and CCT verification, certification PDFs and warranty terms. Our team can help size fixtures against IES RP-20 (parking) or RP-33 (outdoor environments) for your spec.

LED Flood Lights vs Metal Halide and HPS: What the Numbers Say
A 400W metal halide flood light typically draws 458W at the panel and produces 36,000 initial lumens, dropping to about 19,000 lumens at end of rated life (15,000 hours). A modern 150W LED flood light produces 22,500 lumens (150 lm/W), holds output to L70 at 50,000+ hours, and saves about 67% on energy alone.
For a 50-fixture parking lot operating 4,200 hours per year at $0.13/kWh, that's roughly $6,900 in annual energy savings, plus maintenance savings from skipping two MH relamp cycles over the life of the LED system. Most Canadian commercial retrofits hit payback in 18-36 months once rebates are applied.
