The 8" Slim Round Panel is a canless LED pot light that runs on anything from 120V to 347V, so one part number covers residential feeds and commercial three-phase panels.
It draws 18W and delivers 1,700 lm certified at 2700K, measuring up to 1,957 lm at 3500K, across five switch-selectable colour temperatures. CRI 82.

What is an IC rated pot light?
An IC rated pot light can sit in direct contact with ceiling insulation without overheating. This fixture is certified Type IC on the ENERGY STAR register under model VO-RP8W18-347-D-5WY, so batt or blown insulation can rest straight on the housing.
Worth knowing the difference: it's Type IC, not Type IC Airtight. If your spec calls for an air barrier at the ceiling plane, you'll want a separate gasketed enclosure.
Can you put insulation over these lights?
Yes, and you can bury the junction box too. What you can't do is put this one where water hits it.
The 347V model is damp location listed, which covers covered soffits, unheated garages, laundry rooms and bathrooms outside the shower zone. It isn't wet rated. If the job needs wet, the 120V version of the same fixture carries a wet location listing instead. That's the one distinction contractors get wrong when they cross-shop the family.
One part number from 120V to 347V
Most 8" wafer lights are 120V only. This driver accepts 120V through 347V, which is the range that matters in Canadian commercial work where 347/600V panels are standard.
You stock one SKU for the condo suites and the corridors. Distributors carrying both voltages can drop a line.
Will it fit your ceiling?
The trim measures 8.7" across, but the cut hole is 7.55" (191.8mm), so an 8" hole saw leaves a gap. Cut to 7.55".
Housing depth is just 1", with a 0.5" flange below the drywall. The driver sits in its own 3.3" x 3.3" x 1.2" box that goes into the plenum beside the fixture, so allow for both.
Set the colour temperature on the slide switch before you push the unit up. Reaching it afterwards means pulling the fixture back down.
