The VO-14W40 is a 1x4 backlit LED flat panel for T-bar ceilings. There's no light guide plate behind the PMMA lens, so the LEDs face straight down through the diffuser instead of bouncing off an acrylic sheet that can go amber with age.
Five wattages and five colour temperatures switch on site, from 20W to 40W and 3000K to 6000K. It arrives set to 3500K at 40W.

What is a backlit LED panel?
A backlit panel carries its LEDs on a flat plate behind the diffuser, pointing straight down into the room. An edge-lit panel lines them along the frame and bounces the light off a light guide plate. This one has no guide plate at all. That's what the sheet means by "no LGP, never yellowing": no acrylic sits in the light path to go amber over a long service life.
Backlit or edge-lit: which should you spec?
Backlit panels run deeper and hold their colour better. Edge-lit panels are slimmer and suit a tight plenum. This one is 1.2 in deep, so check your ceiling void before ordering a pallet. For most drop ceilings in offices and corridors, that depth costs you nothing and the colour stability is worth having.
How do the switches work on site?
Two slide switches sit on the back of the housing. One picks the wattage, the other the colour temperature. Set both before the panel goes in, and you're done. No tools, no driver swap. One SKU covers five outputs across five colours, so you stock one box instead of 25, and an electrician can match a corridor to an open-plan office from the same carton.
What fits, and what won't
The panel drops straight into a standard T-bar grid. For drywall, order the SF14-A surface mount frame, a recessed frame, a suspension kit or spring clips, all sold separately. The junction box has five knockouts, and the side one clears a 90-degree conduit. Dimming runs 0-10V down to 10%, tested with the Lutron DSTV-Diva. Don't bury it in insulation, and don't plan on relamping: the light source isn't replaceable.
