The T-Bar Frame Light drops into a standard 2x2 ceiling grid and lets the existing tile stay in place. At 0.62 in deep and 1.6 lb, it fits plenums that won't take a troffer.
Five wattages (20W to 40W) and five colour temperatures (3000K to 6500K) switch on the fixture, so one SKU covers 2500 to 5080 lumens at up to 128 lm/W.

What are lights in a drop ceiling called?
Three different things, and the names get mixed up constantly. A troffer is a deep steel housing that replaces a ceiling tile. A flat panel is a full 2x2 or 2x4 sheet that also replaces the tile. A frame light is the third option: a slim aluminum perimeter that sits in the grid while the original tile stays above it, lighting the room off the tile face instead of through a lens.
That difference decides whether the fixture fits.
Will it fit a shallow plenum?
This frame is 0.62 in deep and weighs 1.6 lb. A troffer of the same footprint runs several inches deep and several times the weight. In basement retrofits, low-plenum offices and anywhere ductwork already crowds the void, the frame light goes in where a troffer physically can't. The grid carries less load too, which matters on older ceilings.
Mounting is direct into the T-bar. Suspended kits are available as an accessory.
Why does the driver need its own location?
It's remote, not integral, so it mounts separately on a rigid surface. Keep it away from fan air outlets and other HVAC components, per the installation manual. Heat shortens driver life, and moving air across a driver enclosure is a known cause of early failure.
Expect to notch the ceiling tile for the lead wire, then seat the tile back above the frame.
