An E12 candelabra bulb built in five colour temperatures, from 2700K warm through to 6000K daylight.

It draws 3.8W and measures about 400 lumens right across that range, so output barely shifts when you change the temperature. CRI clears 80. The beam is a full 360 degrees, so the lamp reads evenly in an open chandelier.

Is an E12 bulb the same as a candelabra?

Yes. E12 is the candelabra base. The E stands for Edison screw and the 12 is the thread diameter in millimetres, roughly half an inch, against 26mm on an E26 lamp. It's a base size, not a bulb shape, so E12 lamps come as candles, flame tips and small globes. This one is the candle profile: 3.92in tall, 1.38in across, running on 120V mains.

What is an E12 bulb equivalent to?

Compare lumens, not watts. This lamp measures 397Lm at 2700K, 420Lm at 3000K and 5000K, 407Lm at 4000K and 390Lm at 6000K. Canadian retail candelabra lamps marketed as 40W replacements typically publish 300 to 350 lumens, so this one sits above that group. Votatec publishes no official incandescent equivalence, so specify by lumen output rather than a wattage claim.

Five colour temperatures from one candle body

Most E12 candelabra lamps stocked in Canada ship in 2700K or 5000K and nothing else. This one is built across all five. You pick at order time, it isn't switchable on the body, so each temperature is its own part number. Output moves less than 8% across the range, so you can run 2700K in a lobby chandelier and 4000K in a corridor sconce with no visible brightness step.

Where this lamp won't go

Not enclosed fixtures. The sheet states it, and trapped heat around the base is what shortens a filament lamp's life. It's IP20, dry locations only, rated -25C to 40C. Dimming is verified against named controls: Leviton 6681, 6674 and 6683, and Lutron DVCL-153PLH, S600-P, DV600-P15 and MACL-153M. Anything outside that list needs a bench test. Power factor is rated above 0.7, under the 0.9 some utility rebate programmes ask for.
