The A19 LED Milky Filament is a frosted-glass filament bulb rated for enclosed fixtures, so it goes in the sealed domes and covered shades that kill most LED lamps early.
8W draws 800 lumens at 3000K, with CRI above 80, a 360-degree beam and a standard E26 base on 120V.

Can you use this A19 bulb in an enclosed fixture?
Yes. The spec sheet rates the VO-FA19W8-120-30-D-M for enclosed fixtures, which most filament bulbs aren't. That covers sealed ceiling domes, jelly-jar housings and flush-mount shades in dry indoor locations. It's IP20, so keep it out of damp and wet spots.
Why do some LED bulbs say not for enclosed fixtures?
Trapped heat. A sealed housing holds the warmth the lamp gives off, the driver runs hotter than it was built for, and the bulb fails years early. Enclosed-rated lamps are made and tested for that condition. This one carries an operating range of -25°C to 40°C, so an unheated garage in February sits inside spec.
What does the milky glass change?
Glare. The frosted coating spreads light across the whole bulb instead of leaving two bright filament strips showing through clear glass. In retail displays, hospitality fittings and open shades where the lamp sits near eye level, that's the difference between a warm glow and a hot spot. Beam angle and colour temperature don't change.
Fit and compatibility
It measures 105mm tall by 60mm across (4.13" x 2.36"), so check tight shades before you order a pallet. Dimming is tested against the specific Leviton and Lutron controls listed in the spec panel above, and pairing it with an untested dimmer is where flicker complaints start. Every unit ships with 0.5kV surge protection as standard, and CRI above 80 keeps product colour honest under it. This model runs 3000K only. If a job needs 4000K or 5000K, the clear and white filament A19s carry all three.
