The T10L is the long one. At 7-1/8 inches it fills tall sconce and vanity glass that leaves a 5-inch tubular looking stranded, and the 360 degree filament throws light evenly with no dark side.
9W draws 800 lumens on 120V. Choose 3000K, 4000K or 5000K at order time. E26 base.
Dimmable on named Leviton and Lutron controls. Open fixtures only, not enclosed.
What size fixture does a T10L bulb fit?
Measure the glass first. The T10L runs 7-1/8 inches tall and 1-1/8 inches across, so it suits tall cylinder sconces, picture lights and vanity bars where the socket sits deep and the glass runs long. Put a 5-inch tubular in the same fixture and you get a visible gap above the filament. The 360 degree beam matters here too. Open tubular glass shows the lamp from every side, so a directional lamp would read as a bright face and a dark back.
Can you use a T10L filament bulb in an enclosed fixture?
No. Votatec rates this lamp for open fixtures only, and it's the one spec to check before the order goes in. Heat trapped inside a sealed globe or a gasketed outdoor lantern shortens filament LED life and can void the warranty. If the fixture is sealed, order the 6W T10 instead. That one is rated for enclosed use.
What's the difference between the T10 and the T10L?
Length and output. The T10L (VO-FT10LW9-26) is 9W, 800 lumens, 7-1/8 inches long. The T10 (VO-FT10W6-26) is 6W, 700 lumens, 5 inches long. The shorter lamp is enclosed-rated. The T10L isn't. Both share the E26 base, the 120V input and the same dimmer list, so on a mixed site you can run one control scheme across both.
Which dimmers is it tested with?
Votatec names the controls it's tested against rather than claiming universal dimming. Leviton 6681, 6674 and 6683. Lutron DVCL-153PLH, S600-P, DV600-P15 and MACL-153M. Spec one of those and you avoid the drop-out and flicker that generic dimmers cause on low-wattage filament loads. Power factor is 0.7, so check your panel schedule on high lamp counts.
Colour temperature is set by the order code and isn't switchable on the lamp, so confirm 3000K, 4000K or 5000K per room before you order. Send us your fixture count and CCT split and we'll come back with a wholesale quote plus an open-versus-enclosed check against your fixture list.
