Are E26 and T10 the same?
No, and both apply to this lamp. E26 is the screw base, 26mm across, the standard Canadian medium socket. T10 is the glass shape, a tube ten eighths of an inch wide. So this is a T10 tube on an E26 base. Worth separating, because "T10" also names a 12V wedge bulb used in car interiors, and that one won't thread into a lamp socket at all.
What does a T10 LED bulb fit?
Measure the glass before you order. The spec sheet puts this lamp at 5 inches tall and 1.14 inches across, 127mm by 30mm. That suits candle sconces, small pendants, picture lights and any exposed-socket fitting where an A19 looks bulbous. The 360 degree beam earns its keep on open glass. A directional lamp in the same fixture reads as a bright face with a dark back.
Can you use a filament bulb in an enclosed fixture?
This one, yes. The spec sheet rates it for enclosed fixtures, and plenty of filament LEDs carry the opposite warning, because trapped heat shortens their life. Two limits to respect. It's IP20, so indoor fittings only, not sealed outdoor lanterns. And rated life is 15,000 hours, which is shorter than a fixture-grade LED and normal for decorative filament.
Milky or clear glass?
The gap is bigger than the spec panel suggests. At 3000K the milky measures 702 lumens against 777 for the clear T10, so the diffuser costs about 10 percent of the output. You're buying glare control with it. Choose milky where the bulb sits at eye level, clear where the filament is meant to be seen. Milky is 3000K only. The clear version comes in 3000K, 4000K and 5000K.
