Product Details

A commercial LED track light that does the job of six part numbers. Two switches inside the housing set the wattage to 30W, 25W or 20W, and the colour to 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K. Output reaches 3101 lm at 30W and 4000K. CRI stays above 90. The COB engine throws a 36 degree beam, and efficacy peaks at 107.5 lm/W. Cold-forged aluminum housing, cETL damp listing, DLC listed, 5 year warranty.

What are the three types of track lighting?

H, J and L. They differ in the number of conductors and the shape of the contacts inside the rail, and they don't interchange. This head uses an H-type base, the halo-style 3-wire pattern, so it drops onto any H rail without an adapter. Check yours before you order. An H rail carries three copper contacts and a wider slot than a J. Forcing an H head onto a J rail damages both.

Can you change a track head yourself?

Yes, in about a minute. The daisy connection twists in and locks, so swapping a head means killing the circuit, turning the old unit out, and seating the new one. No rewiring, no tools. That matters on a retail floor, where a dead head over a feature display can't wait for an electrician's next visit.

Why CRI 90 changes what you sell

Colour rendering above 90 keeps stock looking the way it does in daylight. Reds stay red, whites don't go grey, and skin tones hold up in a fitting room. Below CRI 80 the same garment reads flat and washed out. The head pivots 90 degrees vertically and spins 350 degrees horizontally, so you aim light at the product instead of the floor.

Where can you install it?

Damp locations, on ceiling-mounted track only. The spec sheet rates it IP20 and -20°C to 45°C, which covers unheated entryways and covered exteriors but not direct rain. One limit to plan around: it isn't rated for enclosed fixtures, so don't bury it inside a housing. Dimming is triac, so match your wall dimmer. For the per-CCT lumen and efficacy table, the two housing heights and the full accessory list, open the spec sheet (PDF) in the Related documents panel, and note DLC ID S-NLXBHT if you're filing a utility rebate.
