This 20W indoor LED track light is an H-type head, so it seats straight onto halo-style 3-wire single-circuit track you've already got up. One head does 20W, 15W or 10W, and five colour temperatures from 2700K to 5000K. Both set by switches in the housing. 36 degree beam, CRI above 90. Cold-forged aluminum body, ETL listed for damp locations, DLC listed, 5-year warranty. White or black.

What is an H-type LED track light?

An H-type track light is a head built for halo-style 3-wire single-circuit 120V track, the most common track standard in North America. This one carries a halo base, so it seats directly. No adapter. No rewiring. Twist it in and it's live. Swapping a head takes a minute.

Will these heads fit the track that's already up there?

Only if that track is H-type. H-type heads won't seat on J-type or L-type rails, because the contact spacing and tab shapes differ. Check the head you're pulling out: an H-type adapter shows three contacts, two on one side, one on the other. Votatec supplies the matching halo-style rail in 2 ft, 4 ft and 8 ft, plus L, T and X connectors, end caps and canopy feeds, so head and rail come from one source.

Why five colour temperatures in one head?

Because it cuts what you carry. Two switches inside the housing set output at 20W, 15W or 10W, and colour at 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K. One part number covers a 2700K restaurant fit-out and a 5000K retail aisle. You stock two finishes instead of thirty SKUs, and retune on site when the designer changes their mind.

Where it can go, and where it can't

Damp locations are fine. Enclosed fixtures aren't, and it's rated for ceiling-mounted track only. It runs -20°C to 45°C, pivots 90 degrees vertically, rotates 350 degrees horizontally, and dims on standard triac dimmers. Each head is 2.44 in across, 9.69 in tall on the adapter, 1.3 lb. For layout: three heads fit per foot of track, so a 4 ft run on one adapter takes twelve. For the rails, connectors and canopy feeds that pair with this head, open the Spec sheet (PDF), and pull the IES file if your designer needs photometric data. Send us your head count and total track run and we'll come back with a wholesale quote plus a current DLC listing check for your rebate paperwork.
