The Monopoint Track Light is a single-head LED spot that mounts straight to a ceiling box, so you don't need a run of track to hang one accent light.
One fixture covers three power settings and five colour temperatures, both switched on the housing. Beam is 36 degrees. CRI runs above 90.
Cold-forged aluminum body, ETL listed for damp locations, 5-year warranty. White or black.
What does monopoint mean in lighting?
Monopoint means one light on one power feed. The head mounts to a single ceiling outlet box through its own canopy, rather than clipping onto a powered track rail. You get the aim and the profile of a track head without committing to track. Useful when a retail fit-out wants three accent lights over a display case, not twelve along a wall.
Does it need track, or a junction box?
A junction box. The 4.72in top disk covers the outlet, and the barrel below it tilts 90 degrees and rotates 350 degrees horizontally. Mounting runs four steps: back out the screw to free the mounting plate, fasten the plate to the ceiling, join the wires green to green, white to white and black to black with terminal caps, then seat the housing and tighten. Swapping a head out later takes about a minute.
Why switchable beats ordering by colour temperature
Wattage and colour temperature both set on the fixture. 20W, 15W or 10W. 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K. For a distributor that's one line item instead of fifteen, and a job that specified 3500K then wanted 4000K after the drywall went up doesn't need a return. Triac dimming handles trimming from there.
Where it won't go
Damp locations only. IP20 means no direct water, so keep it off exteriors and out of wet rooms. The manual adds two limits worth reading before you order: don't bury the fixture in insulation or cover it with an insulation liner, and don't fasten it to an unstable or brittle surface. That second one rules out screwing the canopy straight into a bare ceiling tile, so a drop-ceiling install needs a box tied to the grid or to the structure above.
For wiring colours, the four-step mounting sequence and the full do-not-install list, open the Manual (PDF), and take the IES file if your designer needs candela data for a layout. Send us your fixture count and target colour temperature and we'll come back with a wholesale quote and a check on whether your ceiling type suits the canopy.
