One UFO high bay that changes its beam on site. Flip the switch inside the driver housing for 60°, 80° or 100° and recover the floor without swapping the fixture or fitting a reflector.
240W, 210W or 180W selectable. Up to 40,800 lumens at 4000K, 170 lm/W. Three CCTs on a second switch.
Die-cast aluminum, IP65, cULus wet location, NSF splash zone, 6kV surge, 5 year warranty.
What is a UFO high bay light?
A UFO high bay is a round LED fixture hung over open floor area, named for its disc shape. This one replaces a 720W metal halide bell while drawing 240W at most. It's what warehouses, shops, garages and food plants use when the ceiling sits too high for a linear strip.
How many UFO high bay lights do I need?
It depends on mounting height, floor area and the lux level you're designing to, and the beam switch is what lets you tune it after the layout is set. Narrow to 60° for tall bays where light has further to travel. Widen to 100° over lower ceilings to cover more floor with fewer fixtures. One thing to know before you spec: the 80° setting is also the brightest, 40,800Lm against 36,000Lm at 60°, on the same 240W. Run the IES file through your layout software rather than a rule of thumb.
Why the switches matter on a wholesale order
Distributors stock one part number across jobs instead of six. Wattage, colour temperature and beam angle all set on switches inside the driver housing, so a changed aisle plan doesn't mean a returned fixture. Remove the plug, set the switches, screw the plug back. Factory presets can be specified on larger orders.
What fits, and what doesn't
The manual documents three mounting methods, not one: hook, ceiling bracket, and 1/2" NPT. Ceiling and NPT mounting let you aim ±50° left or right, and the ceiling pattern drills Φ10mm on 100mm centres. One limit to catch at order entry: the fixture can't be connected to a dimming device when it's fitted with a motion sensor, so pick dimming or occupancy per fixture, not both. The 0-10V driver dims to 10% and has been tested with Lutron NTSTV-DV, Leviton DS710-10Z/IP710 and Legrand RH4FBL3PW. The microwave sensor twist-locks into the receptacle with no wiring, is rated to 40 ft mounting height, and is ordered separately.
For wiring colours, the drill patterns and the fitting steps for wire guard, reflector and safety cable, open the Manual (PDF), and take the IES file if your designer is running a photometric layout. Send us your fixture count and mounting height and we'll come back with a wholesale quote and the right sensor for that ceiling.
