The 14" PIR Slim Flush Mount turns itself on when someone walks in, and its built-in photocell decides whether the room needs it at all.
28W delivers 2240 lumens at 4000K, with five colour temperatures set by a switch on the back: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K. CRI clears 80. Beam spread is 120 degrees.

How do the motion sensor and photocell work together?
The photocell decides, the PIR triggers. Set the mode switch on the fixture body to Day and the light comes on whenever it detects movement, no matter how bright the room already is. Set it to Night and it holds off until ambient light drops below 10 lux, so it won't fire in a daylit corridor. Hold time is 30 seconds. It ships at 100% brightness, 30-second hold, Day mode.
How high should you mount it, and what does it cover?
Votatec's manual recommends 9.85 ft, roughly 3 metres. At that height the sensor sweeps about 15 ft across the floor, reading 40 degrees either side of centre. Worth knowing: there's a 30-degree blind cone directly beneath the fixture. Someone standing right under it may not trigger it. Place these where people cross the detection zone rather than stop in the middle of it. Range runs 3 to 5 metres, across 110 degrees.
Where can you install it?
Indoors, in dry or damp locations. Stairwells, back corridors, garages, storage rooms. It runs from -20°C to 40°C, so an unheated garage is fine. Two cautions from the manual: never cover it with heat-insulating material, and never substitute the LED board or driver. Removal has a knack. Press one side of the frame perpendicular to the mounting strap, then lift it out from the opposite side. Prying at the self-lock strap will damage the housing.
