The ECSTR 8ft linear strip is one fixture covering five wattages and five colour temperatures, both set by switches on the housing before you hang it.

How much amperage does an 8ft LED shop light draw?
This one draws 0.83A at 120V and 0.29A at 347V, both at the 90W setting. Votatec's install manual is the only place those figures are published, and they're what sets your run length: 7 fixtures linked on a 120V circuit, 21 on 347V. Either row lands near 6A total, so the ceiling is the linking connectors, not the breaker.
Is 11,700 lumens too bright for a garage?
For a domestic two-car bay, yes. IES puts a service garage at 10 to 20 foot-candles, so about 440 square feet wants 4,400 to 8,800 lumens on the floor. That's the 50W step. Keep 80W and 90W for warehouse aisles, shop floors and anywhere the fixture sits 4 metres up, where a 120 degree beam has room to spread.
How long can one continuous row be?
It depends on the setting you commission, and the two documents disagree. The manual caps a spliced run at 7 fixtures, roughly 56 feet. The 500W linking badge caps you at 5 fixtures at 90W, or 6 at 80W. They only agree at 70W and below. Plan the row at the wattage you'll actually leave it on.
What's in the box, and what isn't
V-hooks, wire caps and screws ship with the fixture. The 8ft splice bracket is a different part from the 2ft and 4ft kit, so order it by length or the row won't join. Linking accessories and the remote are separate lines. Knockouts come pre-punched for BILLDA, Helpower and Hexing emergency packs, and the dimming pair (purple DIM+, pink DIM-) carries along the whole row from one control. Tested dimmers are the Lutron NTSTV-DV, Leviton DS710-10Z and Legrand RH4FBL3PW.
