What does a 2ft vapor tight fixture actually put out?
Between 1,500 and 3,400 lumens, depending on which of the five wattage steps you select. The ladder runs 24W at 3,400 lm, 20W at 2,800 lm, 17W at 2,400 lm, 13W at 1,900 lm, and 10W at 1,500 lm, measured at 4000K. Independent photometry on the 24W step returns 3,347 lm at 23.3W of real input, which works out to 144 lm/W. Colour choice barely costs you anything. Warm 3000K gives up roughly 3% against 6500K, so specify the colour the space needs rather than the one the numbers favour.
How do you set the wattage and colour temperature?
Two switches on the fixture, set before you close it up. One selects the wattage step, the other the colour temperature. There's no separate driver to order and no need to stock five part numbers to cover a mixed job. Drive current steps down with the wattage, from 350 mA at 24W to 150 mA at 10W, so a run of these on one circuit gets cheaper to feed at lower settings.
Will it run on 347V?
Yes. The driver accepts 120V through 347V at 50-60Hz with a power factor above 0.9. That matters in Canadian commercial and institutional buildings, where 347V service is common and most imported fixtures stop at 277V. It's the difference between spec'ing this fixture and adding a transformer.
Where it fits, and where it doesn't
At 23.62 x 4.96 x 3.60 inches and 1.23 kg, it suits the spaces a 4ft won't take: service corridors, stairwells, small parkade bays, pump and mechanical rooms. Mount it to ceiling, wall or surface, with clips at 13.0 inches. It's rated for enclosed fixtures and holds IP66 across an operating range of -40°C to 40°C. Skip it for food-contact refrigeration, because this model carries no NSF listing.
