The 4ft J5236KLDA-UF48W-5P5C-H is a sealed IP66 vapor tight LED you configure on site. Five wattages and five colour temperatures switch inside the housing, so one part number covers a parkade, a wash bay and a cold store.
At 48W it delivers 7,000 lm, measured at 146 lm/W. Step down to 41W, 34W, 27W or 20W. Colour runs 3000K to 6500K, CRI above 80.
PC lens, PC base, 0-10V dimmable, AC120-347V, 5-year warranty.
How much light does the 4ft vapor tight give at each wattage?
7,000 lumens at 48W, then 6,000 at 41W, 5,000 at 34W, 4,000 at 27W and 3,000 at 20W. Efficacy holds between 146 and 150 lm/W across the whole range, so dropping the wattage doesn't cost you efficiency. Independent photometry measured 7,067 to 7,109 lumens at the top step across all five colour temperatures, a spread of about half a percent. Picking 3000K instead of 6500K costs you almost no output.
How do you set the wattage and colour temperature?
Both switches sit inside the housing, under the lens. Release the latches, lift the lens cover off, set the CCT and wattage selectors, then close it up and mount the fixture. Do it on the bench, not on the ladder. Once it's sealed and on the ceiling, changing either setting means going back up and pulling the lens again.
What's involved in mounting one?
Two stainless clips, fixed with 4 screws and 4 expansion bolts. On the 4ft they sit 33.5" (840mm) apart, so you can lay out and pre-drill before the fixtures arrive. The cord grip screws into the 3/4" knockout and has to face your incoming supply, so settle the feed direction first. The fixture is 47.24" x 4.96" x 3.60" and weighs 2.41 kg.
Where can you install it?
Anywhere wet, dusty or cold. It's a fully sealed, vapour proof luminaire: IP66 and wet rated, -40°C to 40°C, ceiling, wall or surface mounted. It takes any supply from 120V to 347V, so one fixture covers a 347V commercial service and a 120V shop. Two limits. An incompatible voltage voids the warranty, and it's FCC Class A / CAN-ICES-005(A), which covers commercial and industrial settings rather than residential.
