This 14" square sconce is a wet-location fixture, not a decor piece. Two switch banks on the underside set 20W, 25W or 30W and 3000K, 4000K or 5000K, so one SKU covers nine builds.
At 30W it measures 2578Lm, 2535Lm and 2518Lm across the three colours, at 94 to 99 lm/W, CRI above 80. It replaces a 125W HID head.

What's the difference between a sconce and a wall light?
On a spec sheet, the word doesn't matter. The listing does. This fixture is cETLus listed for wet locations and rated IP65, which is what an inspector actually checks on an exterior wall. Most products sold as LED sconces in Canada are dry-location decor, often battery or plug-in. This one is hardwired 120V, die-cast aluminium, and rated from -40°F to 122°F. Same word, different product.
Measured output, not a rounded number
The IES file on this page was tested 2024-04-23 and models the fixture at 2844.4Lm drawing 27.0W. The spec sheet is more conservative: 2578Lm at 30W and 3000K, easing to 2518Lm at 5000K. Efficacy holds between 94 and 99 lm/W across all nine settings. Use the IES for layouts and the sheet for submittals, and note the two don't agree.
How many do you need, and do they go in pairs?
No, they don't have to. On a corridor, a single run at even centres reads better than flanking pairs, and entries usually take one.
For spacing, run the photometry rather than a rule of thumb. The IES covers the full 0° to 180° vertical sweep, which is what a diffused PC lens does. The sheet's "40°" beam figure doesn't describe that distribution, so don't design to it.
What isn't in the box
The junction box isn't included, and neither is sealing tape. The mounting unit arrives with a green ground screw already fitted, plus mounting screws and wire nuts. One step decides whether the wet rating survives: the manual says to apply sealing glue between the back plate and the wall before you tighten it down. Skip it and water gets in behind the plate. Your crew wants wire strippers, both screwdriver types, pliers and electrical tape.
