This bathroom fan cover swaps the plain grille on an existing Votatec bath fan for one with a built-in LED light. It plugs into the fan's own connector, so there's no new wiring and no cutting.

Can you just replace a bathroom exhaust fan cover?
Yes, as long as the new cover matches the fan housing already in the ceiling. This one is built for three Votatec housings and mounts with spring clips, so a retrofit is a grille swap rather than a fan replacement. Shut off power at the panel first, pull the old grille, and confirm the housing model before you order. The finished ceiling should already be in place.
Is there a universal bathroom fan cover with a light?
Not this one, and that's worth knowing before you spec it. VO-FN4-LED-5WAY fits three Votatec fan housings: VO-FN4W18-AC-50, VO-FN4W25-AC-80 and VO-FN4W26-AC-100. It isn't sold as a universal grille and we don't publish fit data for other makers' housings. If your site has a mixed stock of fans, count how many are on those three models before ordering.
Five colour temperatures from one part number
The CCT selector sits on the back of the panel, hidden once the grille is up. Set it to 2700K for a warm suite, 4000K for a rental turnover, 5000K where the spec calls for daylight. Output runs 980 lumens at 2700K to 1050 at 5000K. For distributors that means one line item instead of five, and no wrong-colour returns.
What to check before you install
The fan compartment needs at least 10-1/4 by 10-1/4 by 1-4/5 inches of clear space. Mount horizontal only. Don't put it on a dimmer or any solid-state speed control, since the manual rules those out. Over a tub or shower the circuit has to be GFCI protected. It's damp rated, not wet rated, and it isn't for a cooking area or a range hood. Keep ambient temperature under 40°C.
