This 63W LED corn light runs on any circuit from 120V to 347V, so one part number covers standard and Canadian commercial distribution.
One selector sets 63W, 54W or 36W, giving 9450, 8100 or 5400 lumens at 5000K. It replaces 180W, 160W or 100W metal halide. 80+ CRI, 360 degree output, 4000K or 5000K.
Sealed driver, aluminum heatsink, no fan. cULus-listed for damp locations, 4KV surge protection, 5-year warranty.
Are LED corn lights any good?
Quality splits on certification, not shape. This lamp is cULus-listed as a retrofit kit, rated for damp locations and approved for enclosed fixtures. Sealant is poured over the driver and the plastic housing, and 4KV surge protection is built in. Heat leaves through an aluminum heatsink with no fan, so there's no moving part to seize. Five-year warranty. That isn't the same product as a $10 corn bulb with an open driver cavity.
How long do LED corn bulbs last?
This one is rated 50,000 hours. It holds that rating from -40C to 50C, which covers unheated Canadian garages, loading docks and parking structures. Efficiency is 150 lm/W at 5000K and 145 lm/W at 4000K, so the 63W step draws 63W and delivers 9450 lumens rather than trading output for heat.
Will it run on a 347V circuit?
Yes. The driver accepts AC120-347V at 50-60Hz, so the same lamp works on 120V, 277V and 347V without a different part number. Canadian commercial and industrial buildings often distribute at 347V, and most corn lamps stop at 277V. Power factor stays above 0.9.
Will it fit your fixture?
Check the lamp compartment before you order. The lamp measures 3.35in across and 9.09in long, but the manual calls for a minimum compartment of 420 x 230 x 230 mm, which is 16.54 x 9.06 x 9.06 inches. Remove the existing ballast first, don't just bypass it. Leaving it wired causes high-voltage resonance that destroys the lamp. This wattage mounts horizontally or vertically, unlike the 100W and 120W, which are vertical only. Both E26 and E39 bases ship in the box, though DLC coverage applies to the E39 base alone.
For the wiring sequence, the security rope step and the full warning list, open the Manual (PDF), and pull the IES file if your designer needs photometry for a layout. Send us the fixture type and quantity and we'll come back with a wholesale quote plus a compartment-fit check against your existing housings.
