How long do LED wall packs last?
Rated 50,000 hours to L70, which means it still delivers 70% of its original output at hour 50,000. On a dusk to dawn photocell that's roughly 12 hours a night, so about 11 years before it reaches that mark. The driver carries a -40C to 45C ambient rating, so it holds through a Prairie winter and a July loading dock.
Semi-cutoff or full cutoff, which do you need?
This is a semi-cutoff fixture, per its installation manual. Semi-cutoff pushes light outward and slightly up the wall, so it washes the building face and reaches further across a lot. Full cutoff sends everything straight down, which is what a bylaw restricting uplight or light trespass will ask for. If your spec calls for full cutoff, use the Full Cut-Off 120W instead.
Which wattage should you run?
80W is the efficiency sweet spot. It measures up to 165 lm/W, ahead of the 100W step at 148 lm/W, because output doesn't scale evenly across the selector. Measured output runs 9,136-9,583 lm at 60W, 12,354-13,216 lm at 80W, 14,088-14,813 lm at 100W and 17,091-18,176 lm at 120W, depending which colour temperature you set.
